On Monday morning WCPS optimistically announced that we would conduct January’s monthly Steel Challenge match even though there was snow ( a dusting supposedly ) in the forecast for that day. By the end of Tuesday we had accumulated 4 inches plus of snow at the range exceeding that forecast. More importantly, the extended cold temperatures for the last two days has not allowed for much of a melt off or dry out. Therefore, we regret to inform our fellow shooters that January’s Steel Challenge match is cancelled due to unsatisfactory range conditions.
We hope everyone has a Happy New Year celebration tonight and we look forward to shooting with you in the coming year! Our next scheduled match at WCPS is our January 17, 2021 USPSA match. See you then!
